I had never tried hot yoga before, but since I live close I came to Yoga Loft and I'm VERY glad I did! The studio is great and the instructors are fantastic. There a good variety of classes and times. and I found everyone teaching was helpful and understanding of my beginner level. I am so excited to include this new style of fitness in my life! It feels as though I've been to the spa after a class! So amazing!

I am new to yoga, and not very confident. I am very self conscious about my body and I'm inflexible and rehabilitating numerous lower body injuries. My doctor and physio both suggested that hot yoga could help to loosen muscles and joints. Because of my very limited abilities, I was nervous about joining in, so I spoke with the instructor before the class and explained my situation. I said that I would follow along as best I could, but I did not want to be singled out. During the class the instructor did the opposite. She singled me out in front of everyone in the group numerous times. My attempts at the poses were apparently not good enough for her because she even came over to me and tried to physically manipulate my body into various positions which were very painful due to my injuries. All the other students were watching. It was humiliating. I almost walked out, but I felt that would draw even more attention to me. I quietly said to her again that I was doing the best I could and would prefer to be left alone. Later in the class, she again singled me out. The entire experience was humiliating and physically painful due to the instructor's behaviour. This was several months ago, and I haven't dared to go back to another yoga class anywhere. She may have put me off group yoga for life. Which is a shame considering the potential benefits for my body, and the fact that my wife enjoys yoga too, and we can't go together anymore. I tried to contact the owners by phone a couple of weeks after the event, but nobody called me back. It is possible that the instructor in question is no longer working there, and the current instructors may be very good, but I am not willing to risk being humiliated once again to find out.

This is a great community! All of the people at the studio are so encouraging to one another and helpful. It feels like a big family where everyone is welcome! The flow, hip & core, pilates, and yin classes have been an amazing addition to the studios traditional bikram classes and ALL of the instructors are amazing!

Love Bikram Hot Yoga for its intensity, individual focus and both physical and mental strength building. The owner, Jax and her team are talented, focused and supportive. Love the Yoga Loft!

I have been going to this studio for a little under a month and love it so much! Jacqueline is an amazing teacher. I have visited some bikram studios before in the past and have found the vibe more excercise related and not very body positive. This studio is not like that at all! Really wonderful instructors, very clean facilities and overall great vibes. Really happy :)
