Yoga in Daily Life

I have been a yoga student here for several years. Love it all! Teachers are really committed devotees of the yoga path. Small and intimate classes. Highly recommended if you are looking for yoga classes that are not based on fashion or trends but on yoga as a form of spiritual growth.

For those looking for more than just a physical yoga experience, Yoga in Daily Life Vancouver is exactly that. As stated in the other reviews, the centre provides a very well-balanced yoga program, covering a range of techniques that are supplemented with lectures and workshops. The environment in the centre is supportive, non-competitive and very accommodating to your individual needs. With relatively small classes, it is a very personal experience, where instructors really take the time to help you properly complete and understand each technique. The centre successfully helps its students make the connection between the theory and techniques learned in the classroom with their applications in everyday life. For example, several classes are dedicated to learning asanas that will help with specific areas that are frequently sore, such as the lower back and neck. This way, when discomfort is encountered at home, the student has the tools to remedy it. Unique to Yoga in Daily Life Vancouver is the community it nurtures. The community is rich with friendly, accepting and knowledgeable people who understand and appreciate yoga as a lifestyle that can be integrated into all aspects of life. It is a community of self-improvement and spiritual awareness that strives for the greatest enjoyment of life. I feel blessed to have been a part of this community and sincerely enjoyed the Satsang celebrations held by the centre. I highly recommend Yoga in Daily Life Vancouver. It is perfect for anyone who is just starting yoga and is looking for a well-rounded experience, or for those who have tried westernized yoga and are dissatisfied with its consumerist culture and narrow focus. Their rates are very affordable, the instructors are very knowledgeable and the classes are offered at a wide variety of times. Give it a try with an open mind and heart and you will not be dissaponted.
