This place has become my little sanctuary. Coming from Toronto, there doesn't seem to be a large selection of classes (but again I'm comparing this studio to a large city location). However, despite the limited classes, the quality of the classes are amazing. The instructor is calming and talented, I feel incredible after the classes. Melissa is just a gem! I just love this studio and the fact that they have infrared saunas classes. Going to a studio with infrared is awesome because its so good for detoxification and makes my skin feel super soft and clear. Another thing is the level of heat. Most people can not stand Bikram yoga because of its intense heat where you feel like you're going to boil (not that I really mind, but this is what I hear from other Yogis). But, Oxygen yoga is hot without being too hot, so its friendly for beginners. Furthermore, they have a really good deal where you don't have to sign up, but can try out for ten bucks. When I went I didn't have to put down my credit card. I was also pleasantly surprised that I didn't have to pay for my mat. Renting a mat is usually a few bucks every time. All in all, its a great workout and peaceful. I highly recommend to those looking for a yoga community.

I love the atmosphere and energy of this studio! The staff and teachers are very knowledgeable and friendly. I had not done any yoga for a couple years and my boyfriend, who goes regularly, had gifted me a membership last year. I was hesitant but I've found between the yoga classes and fitness classes this studio is perfect for me. They have so many options and times that work well with my schedule, I'm totally loving how my body feels and that my mind is calm and I can be in the moment. I am so glad to be a member here!

For me, the yoga classes they offer at Oxygen are very much what I am looking for at this moment. That being said, there are other studios nearby that provide very different styles of yoga. And that’s the great thing about yoga: there is variety - something for everyone! I noticed a review on here that said something about Oxygen not being a yoga studio: I would have to disagree strongly. I think it’s important you try as many studios as possible to connect with the place that feels right for you. Maybe this place didn’t feel right for that individual, but to say they don’t offer yoga is incorrect. Oxygen’s format is based on a Vinyasa-type style, and often I find they follow the sequences quite effectively. So for me, I tried a bunch of studios in the area, and I had a lot of good things to say about them, but ultimately, I found myself most wanting a home at Oxygen.... so I have sign up for a year! Yahoo! And maybe a year from now I’ll crave something more “restorative/meditative” in my group-practice...and for that maybe I would go elsewhere. But for a very well kept studio, that offers challenging classes with modifications available, with exceptional service and kindness from staff, oxygen is my TOP pick. And though I haven’t been to one yet, I do like that fitness classes are available too. Personally I think a combination of yoga AND some other kind of “workout” is the best combination for most bodies. The body needs stretching, mindfulness, and strengthening, and sometimes yoga poses don’t don’t target some muscle groups that need extra attention when it comes to a healthy strength regiment. I am excited to try out some of those classes when it fits my schedule! Thanks for welcoming me to your yoga and movement community Oxygen! 💙

An amazing studio! Everything from the ambience and decor to the classes and staff. I started going to Oxygen last year, and a way to get back into shape became an addictive way of life! At the beginning of this year, my membership expired and I didn't purchase another one due to the need to focus on my own financial goals. What I didn't predict was the way I would feel without having Oxygen as my outlet..I felt off. So I am beyond stoked to have purchased the hop to it sale recently! I'm also going travelling soon and didn't want to miss out on the sale, so the team at Oxygen Port Moody ensured me I can activate my membership upon my return! I'm so glad coming to this studio helped me discover a better version of myself and that focusing on your personal wellness is more important than any dollar amount.

Very limited yoga options at this location which is not what I am used to or had hoped for but that being said if you are looking for a fitness/bootcamp studio the facilities were great and the teachers were motivating and professional. A+ for customer service, especially from the owners. If you are having any trouble with booking through their site or with wait lists be sure to call and they'll do their best to find a spot for you in the class that you want.
