Hadn't planned on a yoga retreat, but it was happening at an opportune time for me Aug 18, and participation felt like the right medicine. The workshop was effective, enjoyable, inspirational, and augmented my wellbeing at physical and spiritual levels, and left me with methods to to continue to work with in my own time. It was really useful. Cedar's leadership was experienced and knowledgeable, and I like that she integrated a variety of mind/body approaches. The setting and food were very natural and conducive to peace. I would probably add an hour on to Friday and Saturday. The flexibility around cost made it more doable. Thanks, Cedar. C. MacDonald, Victoria.

The Embody Bali retreat lingers in my memory like a sparkling jewel shining forth into the present, softening my face and widening my smile as I recall the jungle sounds accompanying our daily yoga practice, the lush greenness of the beautiful environment, the lightness in being when safely supported by Kara during an aquatic Janzu session in that fabulous swimming pool, the beautiful smiles of the Balinese people, the ever present expressions of devotion in the offerings left for gods and spirits, and our lovely and knowledgeable hosts Kara and Cedar. It was a deeply nourishing experience amplified by the good will and joy of the group of individuals who journeyed with me. Thank you all for sharing this Retreat in Being with me. I wouldn't have missed it for the world! With love and gratitude...

Bali is referred to as the Isle of the Gods…at first I thought it was a religious or a mythic metaphor but after attending the week long Embody Bali Yoga Retreat and extending my stay afterwards to explore the Island, I now know what the reference alludes to…if I were a God, that’s certainly where I would elect to be spending my eternal time. The one vital reason I am truly grateful that I have been to this retreat is that if I had never gone, I would have regretted it forever. Thank you Kara & Cedar for having given us the opportunity to experience such inspiring classes at this ethereal Resort in a lush and luxurious jungle environment. Thanks for the lovely nature walks, the fun and stimulating social scene, the exquisite dinners, the cocktails by the spa’s pool and most of all for the talent you had to gather a symbiotic group of people that will always be in my fondest memory. You might not be Goddesses yet but you surely looked the part in this Shangri-La that is Bali.

A Janzu aquatic treatment with Kara was sublime. Her warm and caring nature enabled me to fully relax and surrender to her healing ministrations and the motion of the water. I felt deeply nourished and nurtured by this treatment. Cedar creates a warm and supportive environment in which to deeply draw inwards and experience the full effects of each pose in a yoga class. She brings a range of experience and spiritual insight to each class that supports transformation and healing.

I take classes with Cedar at Hemma. Her method of teaching eases me into poses which are challenging but comfortable and she bring a genuine spirituality to each class which imbues the experience and the rest of my day. Thanks Cedar.
