From the moment you arrive to the day you leave, you receive one on one personal attention throughout your stay. Many of the guests during my week had been there several times already. The hikes were beautiful and a great workout, the food was great, even the laundry service was spectacularly. Hot tub, steam room, sauna, massages - they have thought of everything. Great job Mountain Trek. I’ll be back in the fall. My only regret was not booking two weeks. DR (Houston)

Mountain Trek is the best gift I've ever given myself. I'll be going back for the third time in the fall. There is simply no better place to clear the cobwebs and reconnect with the real you, free and clear of daily distractions. It's not just a spa or a luxury retreat or a bootcamp - it's a place to reset, learn, grow, heal and have fun in a breathtaking setting. Thanks to an exceptionally talented, kind staff and the array of resources available to support you, you leave feeling rejuvenated and armed with the tools to tackle life AND live it. Save up and make the commitment to go to MT. You are worth it!

I am a physician and was at first a tiny bit skeptical about the program but within a few days of healthy eating, fresh air and hiking in the beautiful Kootenay mountains and pampering from experienced guides and staff- I felt transformed. In two weeks, I lost 9 pounds, my blood pressure dropped to the lowest normal range it’s ever been in my life and I was able to stop my blood pressure medication. At the end of the program, body and my mind felt strong and clear and I felt ready to tackle the next phase of my life. Finding health and vitality is a warrior’s path and a lifelong journey, and Mountain Trek is the perfect kickstart or refresher course! Enthusiastically rexommended!

I went to Mountain Trek not expecting a lot. I'm a reasonably active guy who eats half decently and doesn't have a high-stress job. Wow. Was I wrong. After one week I had gained muscle, decreased my body fat %, and was sleeping better than I ever have. The trails we hiked were breath-taking and lounging in the spa in the evenings under the stars was thoroughly relaxing. At first I was concerned about the food portions but turns out I was never hungry and the food is incredible! Salmon, stew, omelettes and, my favourite, bliss balls. Definitely not the type of fare I was expecting for a health spa. After one week I felt like a new human being: energized, healthy, strong and revitalized. The only downside to the whole experience was having to leave. Can't wait to return one day soon.

Fabulous experience! It's definitely a top boutique hiking spa with it's chef-prepared gourmet food, attentive staff and world class hiking guides/instructors. Extra services for the body, mind and spirit are offered. I tried the CHEK assessment for my back and neck. I was so pleased with the way it helped my posture I can say it really was worth every penny. I can, without reservation, highly recommend this weight loss retreat. They know what they're doing and you feel inner peace, a lightness and optimism that translates to a state of bliss when you (reluctantly) leave. I look forward to going again maybe next year if I think I need a tune up or just to challenge myself!
