Réception service just ok. Studio lack of charm and not super hot for yoga. The sauna is very often closed :( showers and bathrooms are clean and changing room is nice. Too small lockers.

First the good stuff: Love that they have classes almost every hour of the day as I'm very busy. The facilities are clean and nice. There are a few great teachers there who i go to loyally. I like that they don't just offer yoga for classes Multiple locations make it easy to show up to class all the time. Love the Sauna. There is always room for me in a class - so far I haven't been turned away. I'm a sucker for the tea. Bad stuff: I don't think one teacher has walked around the room to look at what's going on and assist people with proper poses. Or even comment on how to make it better. For someone like me who is injured proper posture is everything and one wrong move can take me down. I know they aren't there to babysit but this is the first studeo this hasn't happened. As a business I find their rules unfair and uncompromising - I had an injury where I literally couldn't walk and I lost out on my trial month - had a doc confirm how bad I was and they wouldn't allow me to try again. Hate stuff like that.

The studio itself is great: yoga rooms, showers, sauna, tea lounge, friendly staff. I can't speak for all the classes as I have only been to hot yoga, yet the instructors I have encountered have only been average in my opinion. The music during the practice is a little distracting, as is the lighting (I like it a little darker). It feels more like a workout class then a meditative practice. Still a great place to practice if you are new, they have a great intro program: 30 days for $40 (normally a $20 drop- in fee).

Beautiful new studio, very clean and great lighting. The instructors are all also very good! My favorite of Vancouver YYoga studios!

Lovely folks and a great space to practice. I'll keep trespassing in West Vancouver from North Van if Nico is in the house.
