Did an intermediate/advanced class while I was in town. It was relaxing but I was looking for more of a challenge when signing up for a higehr level. Was dissatisfied with the actual level as it seemed to reflect beginner classes elsewhere. We didn't even do a hand balance. :(

BeYoga at Carmel is a great yoga studio with many instructors who are helpful in expanding your yoga practice. Great variety of classes and times for you to choose from. The class passes (i.e. 5, 10 or 20 classes) are flexible and are allowed to be used from 6 months to 18 months, depending on the number of classes you purchase. In addition, a friend or family member can use the class pass you purchase - which not many yoga studios in the area allow. I would definitely recommend this studio to others!

I was in Charlotte for the summer and decided to start doing yoga again. The two month unlimited pass was perfect for me. I could try out the nice variety of classes the studio offers. I really liked learning the Universal Yoga which is now called Unity. The teachers are so knowledgeable and encouraging. They are all very welcoming to new students and returning ones. I love that Be Yoga has a drop-in option with mat rentals. You can also buy packs of classes to be used within a year’s time. I can enjoy Unity Yoga or a deep stretch class whenever I'm in town which has been frequently. And I got to play my violin for savasana.

I absolutely LOVE Be Yoga. Be Yoga cultivates a friendly and welcoming environment for yogis of all ages, all shapes and sizes, and all levels of experience. I had dabbled in yoga many times over many years but am happy to say that my mat and I have found our niche at Be Yoga. There are a variety of class types but my favorite is Slow Flow. When I hear "slow" I think it might be "easy" and that is far from the truth. It is a great class that moves but not quite at the speed of a typical vinyasa class. Love love love Be Yoga! **Note: I do have a work/trade relationship with Be Yoga but my opinions would not be different : )
