This place is a small gem in a quiet hamlet. I moved here two years ago and was never a strong yoga student UNTIL I found YogaSole. The atmosphere, variety, expertise and spirit have been woven into my everyday life. After losing 10 lbs in a year without even trying ... my body and mind thank me every day and I love just saying - You're Welcome!!

Love this place! Warm, welcoming community studio with a super friendly vibe. Setting is airy, sunlit, and calming. Great variety of classes and excellent yoga instructors. My favorite classes are the therapeutic and pain relief classes which have helped my back, shoulder and hip pain like nothing else I’ve ever tried. No need to wear fancy yoga clothes – the spirit of yoga and community is what people care about here. I started with a one-month pass 5 years ago and never left!

i like that this place caters to neighborhood folks, and some of the classes do offer a meaningful experience to people of a wide range of ages and abilities. ariel's classes are really incredible in this way, both gentle and deep -- i usually leave feeling peaceful, pleasantly sore, and better informed about how i move. some of the other teachers are okay. and some are nearly unbearable, at least for me. i feel bad being negative about a neighborhood place that seems well-loved by its regulars. but some of the classes are so, so bad, just like a really bad combo of excessive chirpiness and what seems like a lack of preparation and/or inspiration. if i wanted to "shake my sillies out" or "make up my own flow" or do weird repetitive pilates or complicated craft projects with straps for five to ten minutes during a slow and meandering class, i would do that at home, without paying $20 (!), arranging for childcare, or surrounding myself with the goofy dads of windsor terrace and those who love them. monday and wednesday nights are particularly rough ...

Hands down, this is the best yoga studio I have been to in Brooklyn.
