Lovely spot for a nice day out with your family and friends. There's a lite playground for kids as well. We usually bring a blanket and enjoy sunny day on a grass. Love it!

Bannerman park is a great place to visit in any season. There are quiet spots, but the focus is on the busy centre. In winter, there is an outdoor skating loop available, in the summer, visitors can use the splash pad and pool. Families can use the newly installed playground all year round. There are spaces for hanging out, playing frisbee or sunbathing. In the 1st weekend of August, a 3 day folk festival takes over. Always worth a visit, the park is a gem in the heart of old St. John's.

Beautiful park. Swings, slides and rope climbers for kids. Plenty of room for picnics.

Excellent area. Beautiful scenery at least in the winter when I went, ice is well maintained and the canteen shops in the park are perfect for a treat. This is a great spot for a date activity or friendly gathering. Only downside is parking.
