This place made me love Hot Yoga. The instructors are very knowledgeable and take the time to ensure that every attendee is doing their poses correctly and gives you enough of a push. The room also isn't stiflingly hot so that's a plus. Only negative side is that it's really, really expensive but worth it if you can afford it

This place is fraud. I paid $20 for to be told to lie down for a whole hour and listen to the guy next to me snoring the whole time. Do not go here.

I thought I hated hot yoga but apparently I just hadn't been to the right place! Shanti made me feel so great every time I went. Beautiful space & people 💙

The studio is well kept and clean. Lots of lockers and shower stalls. Rental mats are available. So are blocks, straps and cushioned pads, which are free. To start off, I am a beginner. Cheilidh's all-level courses was enjoyable because she explained why using the blocks, straps or even trying a different pose is important in achieving proper form. Unforunately I found that the other classes, like Vinyasa, the instructional pace was fast and also lack of providing alternative or modification to ease me into the correct poses. To be fair, maybe these other classes are meant to be like that and i just need to stick with all level courses. I just wished the instructor provided more assistance rather I figure it myself. Anyway, they recently (Halifax) removed all-level morning courses for the weekend and I just did not feel that I was progressing enough to participate in those other classes that supposely "welcomes all levels".
