I've tried infant massage, osteopathy and yoga at the WOMB. All have been great experiences and a wonderful place for mothers to take care of themselves.

As a first time Mom, for me The WOMB was not only a place where I learned SO MUCH about pregnancy, birth and what to expect in parenthood, but was also a family that supported, guided and cheered me on every step of the way! They have an encouraging, non judgemental and experienced approach that is truly commendable. From their workshops, to physiotherapists, massage, counselling and my AMAZING Doula, Lorri Fleming, I felt completely supported throughout my pregnancy, labour, delivery and even after my son was born! Truly a fantastic experience, many thanks to the WOMB! :-)

Angie Stanley was awesome! As we prepared for the birth of our son, we wanted someone with more experience to help us through the process. The initial conversation where we discussed birth wishes and talked about what to expect in different situations helped me and Don get more comfortable with our options and it was great to get to know Angie better. Angie is so warm, friendly and knowledgeable and her conversation helped us feel at ease about the upcoming birth. From the several late-night texts "I think I might be in labour" (I wasn't....) to the follow-up visits, Angie was so responsive, encouraging and positive. We really appreciated her advice and recommendations. It was great to have someone who was very familiar birth and babies suggest options for us to try as we navigated becoming parents. It was fantastic to have Angie there on the day of our son's birth. When she walked into our hospital room our nurses told us we were in good hands with Angie. Don was reassured by Angie's presence as she was able to suggest different things to try throughout labour and Angie was as much a coach for him as for me. The two of them worked together to support me as Don knew what I needed and Angie knew possibilities for making labour more comfortable. Thanks to Angie's help, I had a relatively quick labour and delivery. Her experience at the Oakville hospital was also great because she knew the staff, told us what we could expect with different nurses and doctors and where everything was. With Angie's support we had a fantastic birth experience. We will definitely call Angie again for our next kid!

Truly a home away from home. The staff at The Womb are so skilled, warm, empathetic, and their services and collaboration exemplifies excellent healthcare for families. A particular HUGE thanks to Lorri, our doula, who ensured a positive birth experience because of her support, guidance, advocacy, and warmth. Having now had a hospital and home delivery, I would highly (cannot be overemphasized) recommend The Womb and their doula support to any pregnant woman and family.

From the moment that we decided to use Angie Stanley as our Doula, she has gone above and beyond our expectations. At our first meeting, my husband and I developed an instant connection to her attentive, caring and maternal personality. It was apparent that she loved her job, and genuinely cared about the families she was supporting, as well as their new babes. Over the course of the next couple months, Angie continued to check-in and would inquire about how the pregnancy was progressing, how the midwife appointments would go (she would always remember the dates of our appointments!), and how we were feeling as the due date was slowly approaching. She was always quick to respond, and was willing to answer any questions or concerns that we had. During our next meeting with Angie, it was evident that she was well educated on the many aspects of birth and delivery, and had a wealth of knowledge to provide us on some of the procedures and possibilities that could possibly arise during the process. This helped to ease some of our fears as she would offer the information using a non-judgemental approach, and made it clear that she would be there to support whichever decision(s) we chose. Unexpectedly (as babies have their own agenda) our son decided to make his arrival a month before his due date. That morning, I sent an email to update Angie on our status, which she responded to immediately. Angie quickly met us at the hospital, and provided invaluable help throughout the entire labor. Her ability to be flexible and adapt to the changing situation kept us calm and helped to make it a very positive experience. We have nothing but the utmost respect for Angie, and would love to work with her again for the birth of our second baby!
