Markham Yoga has given me a new purpose in life! I was inspired to join the teacher training program after I started practicing Yoga on a regular basis and was looking for a deeper connection with yoga. I came across Markham Yoga teacher training and after a brief conversation with Sophia I knew this is what I wanted to do next. The instructors were so knowledgeable, reassuring, and supportive. The other trainees in the class were an awesome group of ladies and we bonded quickly and gave each other support along the way. Poses I never thought I could do were attainable with the coaching of such inspirational instructors. This course is an excellent program to take to get you to the next level of where you want to be with your yoga practice. It certainly has given me the confidence I needed for this journey I am on! My only regret that I have is not taking this course earlier in my life!

I recently completed my 200 YTT at Markham Yoga and it was an amazing experience. Sophia and Shaili are so welcoming, and eager to share their knowledge with you. I have learned far more than I ever expected to. I completed my training mainly online and can say that I felt like I was in the studio with everyone. You will come out of this program with a new outlook on yoga, confident and prepared to teach.

Fantastic teaching program! Provided great cues and "secrets" to how to be a good teacher and how to get into certain poses. They made the classes fun and engaged. They were very passionate, kind and gave appropriate and constructive feed back to each of the students. I appreciated the detail when they were teaching yoga. Such as providing what is yoga, little history about yoga, or the rationale of why you must cue certain poses, the benefit of the poses, and the chakras involved. So glad I took the training with them, highly recommend if you're interested in the 200h teacher training :)

I really enjoyed taking the teacher trainer course through Markham Yoga. I found the trainers/mentors extremely experienced, passionate, knowledgeable, and inspiring. Their positivity and encouragement made it so much easier for me to overcome some fears and difficulties I’ve always had with some of the yoga poses. Any feedback that was given to me was always constructive and realistic. The content itself was delivered in such a thorough and accurate way. There was a great balance between lecture time and practical application time. I really appreciated how genuine, open, and kind the trainers and mentors were. They created a “safe space” in which we could share experiences, collaborate, explore, inquire, and ask questions in a learning environment that didn’t make us feel judged or threatened.
