Shout out for being awesome! I wanted to thank the Kanata Movati team for listening and responding quickly to address member use of cell phones in the hot yoga room. It’s distracting and it’s appreciated you posted signs. Thank you for listening.

Not bad overall. Swimming pool is great which is my main focus. The gym is pretty clean most of the time. The showers are decent in space. Plus the free weight section are always stacked properly which I credit the members as well. Their equipment well maintained as well. The loss of the 5th star was that the bathroom stalls was 'Out Of Order' for almost two weeks. It is one of my favourite in Ottawa.

Not as good as it used to be. I am disabled. My doctors want me to swim and do aquafit. There has been no lifeguard since before Easter ( 2 months ago). Now there is no lifeguard for Wednesdays and Thursdays. They say they are waiting for students to get out of school at end of April. It now is end of April and guess what! Still no lifeguards. This is only a bandaid solution anyway since come September we will again have none. Second issue. When I joined there was a room where people could use their phones. Now they are allowed to use them wherever they want. Yes that includes the change room where people are getting dressed. Never have I seen this. Everywhere else you can't pull out your phone in changerooms. This morning and other times I have had people on video chats with someone while I changed and also taking up all the space with their stuff all over so I couldn't use a bench to sit down and change. Very uncomfortable changing with people on phones beside me. There were no less than 10 people on phones (not listening to music) in the row I was on. I'm afraid my nude body is going to appear on the Internet soon. Not impressed

Pros : -big ,clean and well maintained facility. Cons :-more expensive than others - customer service is very very poor - treats you like a number , you are not that special. - staff always trying to get as much money out of your pocket as they can. - hours are not that good specially in the weekend. *** unless you really know what you are doing , go find a small better gym
