The instructors are great & the classes are amazing but the actual business part (money transactions) is run like a gong show. I was sent an email promoting $8 classes & when I purchased (within 12hrs of receiving the email) they said they wouldn't honour it & I have to pay full price. When I said that's not right, they said they'd get back..never have. Do NOT purchase anything online, make them deal with you face to face or you won't get anywhere. Too much money for too many excuses. Customer service is deplorable.

This place changed my life, opened me to a whole new world, and keeps me active almost everyday even if I don't want to go to the gym. I started with the free trial class, and immediately got the 40 days for $40 deal, that just ran out recently but I'm so in love with hot yoga that I'll be getting the 99 days for $99. They have deals for people who can't afford the bigger packages, and they have cheaper drop in days as well, and free classes here and there. They have everything from sweaty power yoga to calm yin yang yoga to prenatal yoga. The facility is nice, with lots of space and many showers. The floor is a little creaky but you end up zoning out and don't notice it. Overall, I recommend everyone and their mothers try out a yoga class here.

I started yoga Shack 2 years ago, and have attended on average 3 -5 classes a week. This offset the cost of nearly 90 dollar a month and made the money worth the experience. The recent changes to the schedule have made it difficult to attend more than 1 class a week. It's not my schedule that has changed. There are less Pam, Melissa, Michelle T/C and others that I actively plan my own schedule around because they are that good. These teachers have earned my trust through their own interest in the personal success of all the students. When I started yoga, I assumed all teachers/ classes. I was completely wrong. There are teachers who seem to be there for he pay cheque and make me feel hurried and unsafe. ( I tried several classes of these teachers and they were not a fluke) If the schedule does not change, and I don't find the same 1200 dollar a year value in the schedule, I will sadly leave the yoga Shack and find another studio.

I personally love this place. I started taking their drop in $5 hot yoga classes here 2 years ago and have never had a bad experience. I very much enjoy the emphasis on silence and how they encorporate music into the classes. I've found all the instructors to be helpful and I like how they bring their own personal style to the class (one instructor even did the singing bowls as part of the guided meditation). I did see the review about the owner not replying to messages, I contacted her myself once and had prompt replies so I'm not sure if this has changed since. The showers are always very clean and we'll stocked. I can't wait to start up for the winter again.

I've tried many different yoga studios, and never felt truly welcomed or comfortable at any until I found Yoga Shack, they are inclusive and friendly, allowing even the most beginner students or out of shape moms (me!) to feel safe in their space. I especially enjoyed their pre natal classes and the care and knowledge the teachers gave me when I was pregnant. Kudos to Yoga Shack for creating this wonderful Oasis in London!
