Occasional Badass

I have been coming here for the past 4 years, the teachers offer a good range of yoga styles and cater to all skill levels. The atmosphere is always friendly, welcoming and comforting. You really get the sense of community at this studio so not only can you focus on healing yourself physically but also mentally and spiritually. I recommend this studio to everyone.

I tried a 5 pass with groupon at the Woodbridge location, 3 of the 5 classes were great, good vibes and teacher. For the first time practicing yoga over 11 years I had to leave a mixed styles class on feb 27 930-11 am. I am usually very quiet about having my yoga teacher training, but I understand correct alignment cues and what may not be safe for the body. I felt as though she had no idea what she was teaching, there was no sequencing and the postures were- well it wasn't yoga, we bounced around all over the place. I quietly bowed out 40 mins in and will not be back. There was only one other student in the class so maybe that was an indicator, as a new person at the studio I had no idea. At another class I also left feeling as though there was something abrasive or negative lingering in the air when the class was told to "let go of their day" quite a few times, but we seemed cool and ready to practice, maybe teach needed a meditation sesh. Before the teacher arrived the CD was skipping for 5 mins until a student turned it off. I usually don't leave reviews, but hey maybe it will help create a more positive yogic environment! cheers.

My sister and I attended the 6 pm 90-minute mixed yoga class on Monday evening with Rhyll and I loved it. It was our first experience with hot yoga. At first I thought the heat would be too much but it was great, and the class flew by. Rhyll is very enthusiastic and she comes around and helps you if you are having trouble with a certain pose. I have never sweat so much in my life. Afterward I felt like a million bucks. Can't wait to go back.

The teachers are fabulous at this studio but unfortunately the management and poor customer service ruins the experience as a student.
