I am a newbie but I knew after my first class with Kim, that I was hooked. It's true, Kala is a sweet little gem on Broadway. I am only onto my 4th class but I will do this forever. The overall mind, body and soul workout is beautiful and effective. I look forward to new classes, learning different styles and getting to know the different instructors. Unlike that feeling of dread one feels when the gym is calling, I can't wait until my next opportunity to attend a class. I keep asking myself "what took you so long to discover yoga?"

So I have been a member at Kala Yoga for about a year and a few months. I have always gone to classes 5 or sometimes 6 days a week! Over this last summer I have been away and was unable to make it to yoga. I returned just today, and it was like a breath (well many breaths!) of fresh, rejuvenating air! I have always loved going there, but after being away for a time, and returning today to be welcomed back with open arms, I really can't say enough good things about Kala Yoga! From the variety of awesome classes, to the most amazing instructors, who are always very attentive to all of their students, to the warm and friendly atmosphere, and lets not forget about the extras! There's the West African drumming, oh yeah, the revive retreat is AMAZING! They offer all sorts of different workshops that are quite unique, and fun! Laurin and Jason will welcome you with open arms, and make you part of the Kala Yoga family! You MUST try this very down to earth, amazing yoga studio!! You won't regret it!

The staff and instructors at Kala encourage change and challenge both physically and mentally. If you are looking for restorative or more strength building classes (or something in between!) you will find them all here. It is evident that the owners are dedicated to building a safe, healthy community. One of my favourite places in town!

Fantastic and welcoming studio. It's a pleasure to head here weekly for my practice. Engaging teachers keep classes fresh and challenging based your individual needs. I highly recommend Kala Yoga for anybody looking to start or continue their journey with yoga.

After taking a step out from yoga and hitting the gym, i realized how much i missed yoga. Tonight was my first night and by far in all my years my favorable experience. The instructer was patient, and everyone was so incredibly nice. This will be my 4 day a week spot!
