If you want to invest in yourself, I highly recommend their personal training programs at this location. More specifically Cory. He is professional yet still very fun to train with. He is generous with his time, is very enthusiastic and will make sure you get the most bang for your buck. He is also very capable of working with people at any fitness level. While the facility itself is older, the equipment is functional and new pieces are slowly being added to help keep the place relevant and up to date.

Our favourite GoodLife in the area, even though it is a lot older than others in Hamilton, and it hasn't been renovated. Staff there are friendly and there's a good vibe to the crowd. Enough equipment that you never have to wait too long.

Got a membership for my boyfriend and I this past summer. I explained to the employee that I will probably cancel after the summer because I'll have a membership with my school instead. I asked if there were any summer membership and they stated that they don't usually have any summer memberships. So I proceeded to ask what was the best method to save money for the membership and cancellation in September. I was told that it was cheaper to essentially buy the membership and cancel anytime with a higher monthly fee. When it came time to cancel I was told that I needed to pay $100.00 for for each of us. I called the customer service line because this would have been a mistake and the lady laughed at me over the phone and said that she won't be doing anything about it. When I asked her for her supervisor so that I could see if they could fix this, she said that we doesn't need to send me to the supervisor. I really wanted to like this place because everyone raves about it, but it was a horrible experience and I will never get a goodlife membership ever again.

One of the better good life gyms, lots of free weights like squat racks and bench presses. I would like to see 120lb dumbbells. Front desk staff are fine but personal trainers can be annoying (unprofessional). I do not like where good life is going with their newer gyms like stone church and queenston. To many machines and less free weights. Instead of having 8 machines to get a leg work out. For an example queenston has one incline bench press. you can do squats or lunges etc and work ur legs much more then 8 different machine's would which equals to wasted spaced. These gyms do not enforce their policies that much like chalk or dress apparel. Turning into a country club lol. The only reason I still go is because the fact I have been a member so long my rate is low and I can use all their gyms in hamilton with my pass.
