This location is the best I've found in terms of atmosphere around the area! I've been going to this location for about two years now, and now I'm a monthly member. However, I'm kind of glad I read some of these reviews and they seem to also think the quality of instructors have declined. My sister and my favourite is Tori, and also Ashley. You can tell they're good because the class is often full! I often go to Michael's classes too. Some other instructors make me feel very anxious during practice. I wish there were more times so I can choose between instructors, but I still enjoy the late classes. Hopefully in the future, I'll see more morning classes starting around 8-9am. It has very clean equipments and rooms. It gets a little slushy during the winter but it's hard to avoid that.

Have been going to this studio for the last few years and have seen a decline in the quality of instructors. Sadly I've used too many passes on classes that have been less than ideal and focused on getting a workout VS. Actual yoga. What I used to love the most about yyoga was each instructor's unique yoga styles and the opportunity to learn new poses. In recent months the last few series of classes I've done "challenged" us with how long to hold a plank. Will not be renewing my membership.

Unflexible front desk today that uses unclear and poor excuses to turn away reasonable ask from customer. Pretty disappointing customer service as i had great experiences with harbourfront location who offered the same help requested usually without one asking. Should take note of the individuals on shift today.

I'm not a huge yoga person, but I have done hot yoga sporadically over the years. The second time I arrived at this studio, I was a minute late and the girl at the reception desk was super rude and pretentious about it. She pointed out the time and said, "You're exactly one minute late so no I cant let you in." I was already changed and paid a lot for the drop in class so I asked if she could make an exception. She replied, "Uhh no...everyone's in "jabasana" now. You would ruin everyone's energy." It wasn't until I looked it up online afterwards that I realized they had a strict no-late attendance policy, which is fine if she had communicated that to me instead of being unnecessarily rude and holier than thou about it. I have worked in many customer service jobs and currently work client facing, so the lack of empathy and politeness was astonishing. Sadly, after reading some of the reviews here, it's clear that some of the staff here are pretentious, unhelpful and unfriendly. I will not be coming back. As a working professional and living in a city that experiences bad traffic, this type of policy not ideal for me. There are many great studios (yoga and not yoga related) in Toronto with lovely staff. Dont give your money to YYOGA.
