Great gym if you are the Port Hope area. Lots of cardio machines as well as free weights, squat racks and a studio ans two showers. It is not the biggest layout but if you avoid going between 5-6 you won't have an issue! There are a few classes like yoga and Zumba in the studio. Overall its a well priced clean gym!

Hi, I would like to give ya a little taste of what things are like with these guys if you move. I had been with Anytime for well over two years in Port Hope and was super happy with them, had recently moved to Alberta with my fiancÃ©. I am paying for two memberships, his and mine. In February I called to have his membership cancelled and mine left alone. They said yes and it was cancelled, I was still able to use mine. In march my father passed away and I was too busy to use mine anymore being in the country, so I called Anytime to get mine cancelled. They said they had it taken care of and it was gone. When I looked in June I saw that the gym was STILL charging my account! Not just June, but all the way back to February! So I called the gym and they said it was being looked into, after that two weeks go by and they are dodging my phone calls. Finally I get a call back, and it's one of the managers YELLING at me saying she doesn't know what I am talking about and that apparently it was supposed to be frozen. This has got to be the worst customer service ever. Not only did she do that, but the month before she said she cancelled my membership for real, and today I saw that they are charging me again!! I looked at online reviews, it seems that I am not the only one getting scammed here. This needs to stop, and these people need to stop scamming innocent people. I want my money back and they won't stop charging me. Do yourself a big favor, stay THE HELL AWAY FROM THIS GYM! Go to Snap Fitness or find a different location.

The gym was great while I was in Port Hope, but since leaving the area, it's been a bit of a nightmare to get my membership cancelled. I left the area in July 2016 and placed my membership on hold, not knowing if I'd use it after the summer. I ended up moving to Toronto and then noticed in September that I was being charged. I called, spoke to the manager, and he said "No problem, I'll look into and cancel it for you". Great! Except I just had a look at my VISA statement and realised they continued charging me monthly right until April of this year. I called again, spoke to the same manager, and same story - he'll look into it and fix it. Apparently it needed to go to head office to be able to refund from September - December, but he'd be able to work out the rest (Jan - April). I called 2 weeks later and was told they'd only be able to refund January to April. When I protested, the manager said "He was trying to be a good guy" and promptly hung up the phone on me. Here we are another 2 weeks later (was told the Jan - April portion would be refunded within the week) and I've yet to receive any money. Of course I'll be happy to change my review if and when that happens, but as of now, I feel a bit scammed. Fair warning to future gym goers - scrutinise your contract before you sign it and keep on track of your credit card statements. I've had to cancel that card as the only guaranteed way to stop these payments.
