The instructors here are amazing. Vincent has a great sense of humour, Carla’s flows are fun, Jaime challenges you, and Kandace’s flows are unique. The instructors take their time to get to know you, and it feels like a family here. I’ve only been going here for two months and it feels like I know everyone so well. I highly recommend this place! Also the best rate for students in the city.

The instructor Vincent came in with a negative attitude that he transferred to his students. He specifically said when he came in that he "Did not want to come here today, and it feels like a job today." Which would have been fine if he listened to his students feelings as well. We had the shortest savasana I've ever seen, which is against the philosophy of yoga as it is supposed to be the culmination. It felt more like an afterthought. The students in the class were called out any time they took a break in childs pose or anything he did not tell us to do. This too is against the philosophy of yoga. The thing that made the class the worst for me is that he DID NOT CREATE A SAFE SPACE FOR STUDENTS TO EXPLORE WITHIN AND TO FIND WISDOM FROM THE INNER SELF. I cried during the class because I am recovering from extreme anxiety/depression. He bothered me multiple times when I made it clear I needed to be alone within myself. Then when I did not give him what he wanted, he called me out in front of the class and said "If I see someone sad then I feel sad too so if you don't like my class I go home happy anyway so it doesn't matter to me just tell me you don't like the class." I loved the actual class and the sequence of asanas he chose, because it opened me up in my heart chakra. He seemed to be wanting me to tell him what is wrong in front of the entire class which is the opposite of what yoga is. Yoga is INNER SELF exploration and only MY INNER SELF can heal myself. I needed to breathe and connect. He interrupted this connection repeatedly because he was worried the class was "too hard" or I didn't like it. The front desk lady was also especially unhelpful and did not make eye contact even once throughout registration and payment. This further made my experience a very negative one. She was very helpful to the rest of the people and so I do not know what the problem was that she had with my sister and I. Her job is to be helpful and welcoming as a receptionist and her behaviour was completely unacceptable (on her phone, and not helping or making eye contact at all). I came in for the Flow class which says All Levels at 1:30pm on Friday May 25th.
