My daughter went here for the first time and we were so impressed. This is a camp for children and adults with disabilities. The cabins are beautiful and so well laid out. The whole camp is completely accessible as are all of the activities. It is an amazing camp experience!

We came with a group from the Kiwanis Club of South Edmonton, of which I am a member. We came to explore Camp Health, Hope, & Happiness, as our Kiwanis Club had been the original builders of the club in the late '50s. Joan (former manager) and her son Greg (who is now manager) showed us around the camp site, through all the cabins and rooms. We were even treated to a nice dinner and dessert, c/o the camp's red-seal chef! We met some of the kids at the camp, who are very sweet and awesome. We got to see some of them swim in the pool (as the lake which the camp is situated on is no good for swimming, with so much blue algae), or use the zip line/climbing wall setup, which was specially built so that even kids in wheelchairs can get up high and take the zip line. We also got to take a boat tour of Lake Isle. All in all, it was a grand time! Would love to come again. And I highly recommend this place for any families with special needs kids - no matter the kind of disability!
