After 6 weeks of boot camp at Calgary South Fit Body Boot Camp, I am proud to say that I met my goals for the first time at a gym. They have an amazing team constantly supporting every step of your challenge. I am strongly recommending this formula as it works. I followed the vegetarian food plan and I was never hungry which helps with cravings. The 30 minutes workout was what made it appealing to me as you are in and out in no time and you get results. Thank you Calgary South Fit Body Boot Camp!

I joined this location of Fit Body for the six week boot camp challenge. The food plan was healthy and challenging. I learned to cut out sugar, breads and other unhealthy foods. The weigh ins were great. Comprehensive information about your overall health and weight. The social community is awesome and the emails and texts were very motivating. I loved the coaches and workouts!! I hit my 6 week goal! I would recommend this location for sure. Thanks Coach Derek and team!

I took the FBBC 6 week challenge because I needed help to get back into shape after having 2 kids and I don’t regret a second of it. The meal plan was easy to follow and understand. You can be as creative with it as you want, as long as you are within the plan of course. I had my moments where I wanted to eat everything in site and have a drink or ten after a rough day with a two year old and a 3 month old but I kept thinking how hard I was working towards my goal and how much I needed to do this for myself. The coaches were fantastic and so supportive when you needed it. They push you to give your all and motivate you too keep going when you want to lay down and quit. I reached my goal that was set by the FBBC team and couldn’t have been happier with the results that I saw in just 6 weeks. This was not an easy quick fix but a life long change in the way I look at food and exercise. It was hard work and a huge change in my lifestyle but wouldn’t change a thing about it! I highly recommend FBBC!

Do NOT join the fit body boot camp! Your initial reaction may be to stop reading after that first statement but I urge you to read on. My name is Andrea, I recently turned 30 years old, have two children, and decided to get fit again. I found the fit body boot camp online, and foolishly believed their claim of a “free” 6 week boot camp. The first day I went to the information session, I quickly realized that this was in fact not free at all and in actuality quite expensive. They need $500 so you can prove that you are committed to their class and to following the plan they’ve laid out. That alone sent up a major red flag, but again I was committed to getting healthy and fit again, so I paid the money, with the promise you get the money back when you reach your goal. Then comes the weight loss goal, now normally, you have a bit of input on what your weight loss goal is, but not with the fit body boot camp. The head trainer/ owner sets the goal for you, in my case it was 25 pounds or 6% body fat in 6 weeks. Yes you read that correctly, just over 4 pounds a week, over 6 weeks. Now if you do a simple google search of how much weight is safe to lose in a week, NOWHERE will you find anyone saying that it is safe to lose 4.16 pounds a week. Everyone agrees that a safe weight loss goal is 1-2 pounds a week. When the head trainer was asked this very thing he responded ‘no that’s not true, you can lose more than that’. Well I was amazed! Here in Calgary Alberta, I had found a revolutionary trainer who, in spite of everything you read and talk to people about, has found a safe way to lose 25 pounds in 6 weeks! I couldn’t wait to see the meal plan that he provided for his revolutionary training method. Now I am a vegetarian, my husband and I made the decision go go veg more for health reasons than save the animals, but we are very committed to this lifestyle. I informed the trainer of this, and was happy to hear that this wasn’t a problem, they have a program for vegetarians, but at the first session he didn’t have the vegetarian meal plan, so he gave me the regular one, and told me he would email me my meal plan soon. Now when running a scam of this kind, it probably wasn’t the brightest idea to give me the regular meal plan, because when I was sent the vegetarian meal plan it was easy to compare the two. His hilarious “vegetarian” meal plan just simply deleted the meat options, and substituted them with tofu...ok now I am not an nutrition expert, but it is pretty easy for anyone to see that absolutely no time of effort was put into this meal plan. Now comes the workouts, and I will be the first one to admit that they were great, I enjoyed the workouts very much. The trainers (not the head trainer but the ones that actually did the workouts with us) were awesome, supportive and quite knowledgeable, this part and ONLY this part of the 6 weeks was worthwhile. But back to everything else, we were informed that with our “free” boot camp, we had to attend a mandatory sales meeting, so the head trainer/ owner could pitch a membership to us. I attended this meeting, knowing already full well at this point that I wasn’t going to be signing up. However I let him do his pitch, and he was very nice, supportive and pleasant during his pitch. That is right up until I told him I wasn’t signing the contract he put in front of me. His attitude totally changed as soon as I told him I wasn’t signing up, it went from supportive friend to used car salesman very quickly. Then comes Saturday, final weigh in day, I lost 9.5 pounds and 3% body fat, a great start to getting healthy, but not even close to my unrealistic goal and nowhere close to getting my $500 back for reaching my goal. So that in short was my experience with the fit body boot camp, I am out $500 because I wasn’t able to reach a goal that was impossible to reach. But the best part of the whole thing is, writing this review was another mandatory part of the boot camp. I hope no more people fall victim to this scam, I really hope this review will serve as a warning! :)

Calgary South Fit Body Boot Camp is an excellent way to change your life, lose weight, gain strength, improve your health and learn to eat clean. It only takes 30 minutes with their HIIT style workouts, always different workout each day, including proper warm-ups and stretching - you'll never be bored with your workout. The coaches and owner are always keeping in contact with fitness, nutrition advice, answer questions etc. - they care about your goals. You will feel like part of a small community and members are like family. Fit Body is so unlike your regular gym.
