Stayed here for a month in May. PROS: Clean bathrooms, showers, and laundry room. Many small playgrounds. Local campers generally keep to themselves. Quiet during the week. Good price for the area. Away from major roads. Security keeps rowdy intoxicated people in check. Some large lots. Most RV sites can handle heavy rain. Large firepits. CONS: Lacking on grass area in sites. Weekends before 12am can get loud. Dogs running loose and using other people's lots as bathrooms or going through food. Last few days went half of each day without water in entire camp. Many longterm lots are an eyesore. Like any campsite, a large amount of intoxicated people daily, and the smell of marijuana is potent.

The Autism Aspergers Friendship Society of Calgary are grateful to the folks at Riverbend for their support of our Outdoor Pursuits and Camping Programs. We came out twice this Summer (2017) and plan to expand that next season. Our members love coming and are provided with amazing opportunities to camp, explore and just be kids. Thanks Riverbend. You've made some great friends and great memories. Scott Godfrey - Program Coordinator

Nice spot near the river, power was a little shakey (30amp went out two times )

We found our site really nice for tenting for 2 days, some sites aren't as nice and you may end up on rocks to set up your tent and no grill for the fire pit. Loved how close it was to the city and everyone was super nice, friendly and helpful. It didn't seem like there was any quiet time and everyone stayed pretty loud pretty late but I enjoyed our stay overall. Will definitely go back just hoping to get a spot a little further from permanent trailer with loud music and such!

Terrible campsite especially for what the rates are. Packed in like sardines (can hear the neighbors breathing and F-bombing), very trashy campground with poor quality facilities and dusty (can only imagine how muddy if rained). Asked for quiet campsite away and assured that no one else was camping near us - entire row was packed and I mean packed. Couldn't get hold of office after 7pm - no answer on phone either (hope no emergencies after that time). Transient camping with people living month to month. Not appropriate for kids.
