Not impressed. Went there last Canada day with our boat, pulled in there today to be asked by the office check in girl, "that your boat?" I proceeded with a yes, she then said, no boats allowed here. I said, I was here with the same boat last year. Then she said, well we have new owners and no boats are allowed. That ended that for our Canada day on the lake. MF

My friends and I booked a camping site for one night here to get away and enjoy some water. It was instantly a disappointment when the campsite we booked said waterfront and it was no where near “waterfront”. We set up camp anyways and tried to make the best of it. We were in the water for an hour until we found a couple leeches on what we were floating on. Instantly our bodies felt itchy so we towel dried and went to shower off quickly. All four of us got swimmers itch and are now covered in red bumps everywhere. We went to the office/store and asked for calamine lotion and they were sold out. If you sell out of the lotion that should be a sign there is something wrong. I told the lady at the register, “so your lake has swimmers itch hey?” And she said “the people who test the water say we don’t but we sure get a lot of people complaining about being itchy” If that is happening then there is something wrong!! And we should have been informed about the situation before going into the water. That is the campsites responsibility to at least inform guests of the possibility of getting swimmers itch. Totally unprofessional. At 1 am there were dogs barking all night long and then at 8 am there were people doing construction on a building. Definitely not worth what we paid for an unserviced site. Will not be back again.

We are absolutely thrilled to be staying here at half moon lake resort! The resort is under new ownership and the new management is super friendly and accommodating. We fine the park clean, peaceful and relaxing, and are happy to be here on an extended stay!

I booked a place as the map showed, but when I got there it was way different. The office close at 10 PM and open at 9 am and between those hours is nobody who can help you. The place is ok.

It's a pretty nice place to camp if you have kids, there's a playground and mini golf. You're gonna want to pick a spot away from the lake because there is a ton of mosquitos, so unless you want to get bitten I say to stay away from the lake
