We had a lovely stay at Fort Lions Campground. Dave and Brenda were super accommodating to us and our last minute booking (answering the phone past 8pm) after an issue with another camp ground. We had a lovely hot shower, that were, stocked and clean. They were locked which prevented non guests from using them. We simply gave a $10 deposit to retrieve the key and once the key was returned at check out we received our money back. We enjoyed our stay so much, we extended our stay by another day. The camp ground was lovely and quiet considering its proximity to the town, so quiet we were able to hear the local wildlife. It was also tidy and well kept. Dave and Brenda were so lovely and accommodating, especially compared to staff at other campgrounds when we phoned.

The campground host works really hard to have negative reviews removed from google. Suffice to say the hosts are no where near a positive representation of the City of Fort Saskatchewan. It is absolutely true that they don’t know how to use the booking system to accommodate guest requests. The host, if you can find him, could only be described as rude and obnoxious. The parking is terrible, the host do not make the locked laundry and bathrooms available to short term guests. Only long term guests (workers) have access to washrooms. Without a key you have to use an outhouse. No fire pits are available, unless you use the community fire pit. Look closely at all the negative reviews…. There is a theme, it’s the campground host who is ruining this otherwise quaint campground that should be a gem for the Fort

Here we go again. Stayed in this camp grounds several times over the past 5 years to visit in the area. Very disorganized on the booking end. One previous visit our booking had been lost and we ended up scrambling to stay in a farmers yard in the area. Now this current booking for July 7th to 11th that we made & confirmed in May for our 30ft bumper pull RV has completely changed. When we arrived they were surprised by the size of our unit even though that's one of the 1st things asked when we booked and we have previous history as well. So the only place they had left was in the overflow crammed in with 2 other units. This is not what I expect from a confirmed booking. Definitely did not get what we paid for. We do like the location of the camp ground and if we would of had a decent site as per our booking there would have been no issues.

Did the job and had a spot for the long weekend. Heated washcar for showers and other requirements. Friendly, accommodating caretakers and a lovely friendly old pupper. Not ideal for tenting if you're in a rv spot but made do.

Great campground. Very clean , well kept and wonderful hosts ! Big enough for our 42’ fifth wheel , great water pressure , power and free wifi. Would definitely stay here again if we’re in the area. 👍
