Let me second my appreciation for this much more rustic campground. It was peaceful, the sites were generous and the area is pleasant enough to walk to the beach and take in the sights and sounds of the lake. Not manicured not overprice very clean washrooms. Will be back!

I'm not sure why the bad reviews. Yes the property needs work but you are camping. If you want pretty and manicured spots, go to an RV resort. In those resorts, you will get less room and zero privacy. They have very spacious sites, all are quite private and some with water views. For the most part it is quiet and the staff were very friendly. Personally, we loved our site. It's so hard with an RV to find full hook ups and private, spacious sites. The road to the sites is a little rough but it is driveable. We have a 24 foot travel trailer and managed just fine. We will be back!

I would have poste 0 stars but it doesnt allow it. It was like driving into a time warp or 80s horror movie. I'm sure 20 years ago it was awesome. Now however it was over priced and under cared for. Up keep was nonexistant. Lake is a discusting slough. Weeds are at least 3 feet tall. The site we were given had a picnic table Im sure hadnt been used or cleaned in at least 2 years. We asked for water and power. Power was good . The water tap was across the road and down a few sites. We would have needed at least a 100 plus foot hose . The wasps were out of control and the porto potties were so full they splashed out when the boys peed. Also you paid 6 dollars for 6 pieces of wood that was still green and impossible to burn. We will never go back there. The saving grace was Half Moon resort 10 minutes away. We spent the day there enjoying the lake and well kept beach.

Quiet and relaxing . Older campground but there is water and power to most sites.
