Definitely a budget-friendly option to stay in Banff. The best part is location - walkable to anywhere in town. Stayed in the moose cabin for 2 nights with 4 people. Inside it's a good size for 4, clean, and simple. Bathroom was a little tight though. Outside the parking situation is kind of tight as well. It's especially awkward to park in the Moose cabin spot, but it's manageable. There are a couple of patios and bbq grills, however they haven't been cleaned in a while and accumulated a lot grease and debris which caused a lot of flare-ups when we cooked on them. Still a good value, considering the price of other accommodations in Banff.

I stayed at Bear unit for 5 nights. The unit is fully stocked. Comes with everything you could possibly need to cook. The kitchen has a full size fridge, microwave and a hot plate with 2 elements. The unit also comes with a storage for ski gear. We loved the location. It was about a 2-3 Min walk to the grocery store. The one thing that I personally found a bit annoying is the heating system. It's a furnace that's about two feet away from a bed so every time it turns on it wakes you up. Alternatively, a plug in electric heater is available to be used at night time but that's also kind of loud. Overall this place is phenomenal though for light sleepers it may not be ideal.

A group of us rented the Bear, Cougar, Elk and Moose cabin and they were great! The cabins were clean, cute and cosy. The location is unbeatable. We would definitely recommend staying here.

From the time I arrived at this shady, tranquil oasis in busy downtown Banff at the height of the summer tourist season, I was treated with courtesy and care by the host owners, soothed by the most comfortable bed in the quiet Gopher suite, and restored by the peaceful atmosphere at night. Afternoon tea and cookies are an added bonus in addition to being able to make wonderful coffee, tea and anything from a snack to a full meal in the well-appointed kitchenettes featured in each cabin suite. I will be back!
