This is a great campground. We stayed in site 503. It's full hookup which is always nice. The restrooms are clean. It's very quiet and peaceful compared to downtown Banff. You do have to drive in through downtown Banff to get to the campgrounds which wasn't to bad. We came in from the west side.

Beautiful campground. Easy access, private pull-through sites and very peaceful. Surrounded by gorgeous mountains and lots of trees in the 700 block. Definitely coming back.

Good campground. It was difficult to nail the tent into the ground due to the rocky ground, but I enjoyed my stay here.

Beautiful setting. Not much for children

You're packed in very tightly but it's nice because there's lots of trees around. And you're still looking at nice mountain views. Be sure to research first as some spots seem your own only to arrive and find they're twinned and you may be with strangers. And you may not be able to actually access the services on your site if they haven't parked properly. Other sites were basically parked on the side of the road with a power outlet and fire pit. But some are great. There's showers, outhouses, cookhouses and even a theatre depending on where in the park you are. It's secure which is great, staff on site 24 hours. All in all it was a great rate for the area, but could be better organized.
