We liked this campground! Well located. The bathrooms with showers are really proper! Your neighbours are not so close. The ground floor is with gravel so you need a good sleeping pad.. be careful to have a good sleeping bag... the temperature are very low in the night even in July.

Clean, quiet, and safe. This campground made our experience in Alberta incredible. The park staff, and accommodations made it easy to keep bears out of the campground with bear safe trash cans, and friendly reminders. The wood pile is overflowing, and you will not need to bring your own wood. The trail around the campground is an easy walk and great for after a dinner cooked on a fire. The bathrooms were so clean, and a nice upgrade from.any campsite bathroom I have ever been in before.

We had the most perfect site, which made our stay incredible and tranquil! The washrooms were clean and there was convenient access to water and a sink for dishes. The fire permit was mandatory, but included wood, making this campground an amazing value. We took the bus right from inside the campground to downtown. It was free to, and $2 back. The experience might be different if you have a site that is in the middle close the others without tree cover.

A standard Parks Canada campground. It does have hot water for doing dishes and showers (which are free). Quiet times are respected here. Wood is included with the fire permit. It also close to the Tunnel Mountain hiking and biking trails too. You can also catch a free bus to Banff which is great considering how difficult it is to find parking during the high season. You do need to pay for the bus ride back to the campground (I think kids under 17 are free). There are at least two stops in Village 1.

Beautiful campground, in an amazing location. Lots of wildlife in the area and beautiful views of the Banff mountains. Full hookups are available. Staff are friendly, helpful and on top of it. The campground is clean and well maintained. Can’t say anything bad about this place and would highly recommend it.
