Major renovations and new buildings here. We Stayed for 1 night on the second floor on a 2 king bed room. It was the first day they opened. All staff were friendly and accommodating. Decent basic breakfast included. I got to chat with the owners of the place, and they were more than receptive to input! This is not the Basecamp of old. New colors, new buildings. Parking is tight, so beware if you have a large truck depending on which building you are in. Train tracks are right behind the buildings, but it did not interrupt our sleep, and they do provide with ear plugs, but we did not find it necessary. Awesome toiletry product(soaps, shampoos etc) as well.

Stayed here with a large group (8 to a room) and there were plenty of beds and space for all of us! I loved the big table we could all fit around. Suites were tastefully decorated and had a great layout! Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with any kitchen tools we would need. One thing to note, there is only a large French press instead of a coffee maker, which is totally fine, but doesn't work with fine ground coffee! I also appreciated the tower fan in the closet of every room. Beds were firm but comfortable. Super soft pillows! It's a great location, easy to walk downtown, and great views! Trains absolutely go by a lot, but you can't hear them with the windows closed. There were many large groups staying there who were quite rambunctious, but we couldn't hear them at all! The no-reception check in model worked well and was super easy! The one downside was only having one parking spot for such large suites. We found parking a bit of a way down the road, but it would be nice to have at least two spaces per suite. This was a great place to stay and we will definitely be back!

Really nice rooms and location, but right next to railroad tracks, so it can get very noisy at times if you're in a room facing the railroad. The beds are also very firm and my wife and I didn't find them very comfortable unfortunately. I will say though that the staff are very accommodating! After our first sleepless night due to the train passing by a number of times during the night, they upgraded us and relocated us to a room that was away from the tracks and was dead silent. I should really stress that the rooms are very nice! Especially the 3 bedroom 2 floor suite we were upgraded to. Also a huge plus is that they're pet friendly! A rarity in Canmore! It's tough because though it's modern and looks great, I just feel the biggest staple of any hotel is comfortable beds since that's really what you're paying for at the end of the day, a good and comfortable place to sleep. I know this is a matter of personal preference, but that was the main let down.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Very nice decor with white and wood accents. A lot of nice extra little things in the room like ear plugs and q tips. Hide a bed couch was really comfy. The layout was very accommodating for large groups, you never really feel cramped altogether. The hot tub is great with a awesome view of the mountains. The only downside is that the sound travels through the building. If you are on the bottom floor you can hear everything above you.

Rooms were clean, modern and well laid out. We managed to fit 10 people in an 8 person room with air mattresses. Virtual check-in was easy and convenient!
