Amazing beautiful place. Had such a memorable experience here. Lots of trails to explore that lead to cool waterfalls. Lots of historic spots to see and interesting historical facts to learn about. There are many campgrounds all with beautiful scenic views. A major flood went through the area a few years back leaving devastating scares of its aftermath everywhere. You may be tempted to help clean up the area by burning all the endless amount of dead wood debris that surrounds the area. This is however frowned upon as we learned in the most hilarious way. Highly recommended spending a few days here with the family and hounds.

Some great and not so great camping sites. I did a drive in no reservation and got a crappy site. If I remember they have coin operated showers

Grassi Lakes Trail. Good short hike for families but can get a little busy. Watch climbers sitting by the lake.

Yeah I walked the valley of the shadow of bow, I felt the evil only of the politicians who spoiled this great valley to get the money from people more evil to line their pockets.
