Great place to stay when cycling or backpacking in the area. Food lockers, washrooms, fire wood and pits and tables at each site. Also an indoor shelter and a sink for washing dishes. Has a nice little creek running through the grounds. Bring bug spray.

Nice small campground, located right in front of some nice hikes into Glacier National Park. All sizes of lots are available. It is now (21 June 2029) open for the season.

Beautiful gem in the middle if the park. Beautiful scenery next to a running river. The campground is conveniently the start point if many beautiful hikes that are also recommended. It offers toilets with running water (not heated though) and other facilities (no showers). Self registered (cant book in advance), and excellent prices. 100% recommended.

Very nice campground. We were by the river and could hear it’s soothing sound all the time. The river is quite fast so it’s important to keep your kids in sight. Hikes were great and the ruins of the old Glacier Lodge were fun to explore. There are no reservations accepted but there are other places close by that you can stay at if you don’t get into this campground.
