Lovely spot close to Calgary! We visited here for the July Long Weekend, we were in what I am told was the "newer" area of the campground and we really enjoyed our stay. Sites are spacious and surprisingly well treed in considering it's in the middle of the prairies! Nice staff, full service sites are nice and private, but connected well if you are camping with a few folks - took a peek at the group sites, will have to try to get one of those for next year. The facilities are clean & well kept as well. The only thing we had to complain about was the size of the gravel/rock used in the roadways & paths - it's an oddly large wash and makes it very difficult to walk on... sound strange to say this, but once you are there you will see what we mean. Really pleased with our visit, will certainly make a return trip here!

Such a great place to visit! The halloween train is a must every year for us, it's a blast! The train restaurant food is great and the staff is always so friendly! Very excited to try the tavern and escape rooms. Nice to see them expanding. Makes an entertaining place to camp out.

It's been 6 years since we were last here. Wow has it grown! The sites are well treed and very clean. We had a great weekend. The only bad thing we noted was some of the gravel throughout the camp is quite large making it hard to walk on, otherwise they have done a great job on the campground. We can't wait to go back.

The owners have made something out of nothing. They have turned bald-assed prairie into an oasis with thousands of trees, a full service campground RV facility and a well stocked garden centre. The full on train-centric theme is very well done. The dining car supper was very good as was the tavern's wings and beer. Being close to Calgary we really like this place.

A great place to camp. Lots of activities for the family and more to come. Great for day tripping too.
