Very expensive for what you get. Edit: very clean sites, large pull through sites and very close to west side which is great if you’re a student. But compared to what we are used to camping in BC next to lakes it is expensive. We were charged for the $44 site; wifi (3$ per day and it was very low quality still just be warned if you’re studying it might be a struggle), showers (2$ for every 6 minutes and temperature you can not control and lukewarm at best) and 3$ per dog per day (very small dog run area, not ideal for our large breeds but may work for smaller pets). It was great to have the laundry available all hours tho, with a messy toddler that was really appreciated. Propane is charged by the bottle not by the lb so what your tank actually takes.. Felt they were concerned over money than quality of handling our account, as they were quick to my credit card for days and dogs that we did not even have. Double check your account when checking out.. I was over charged $68 that I was not even told about. I used my credit card for paying for shower tokens, and without telling me they linked that card to the account and charged for extra fees (they charged a whole extra day to this credit card) they have said they refunded to this account. Update: they were able to mail me a cheque to reimburse for overcharges. We might give it another try because the place was really clean, they did allow pets, and the sites are great for large trailers.

Nice clean park near #3 highway. Staff are great. Bathrooms, showers and laundry room are all super clean.

We were charged a $20 late checkout fee. Even though the campground was almost empty and there was no one coming in behind us, I dont personally agree with that policy, but what do I know. We were also charged $6 for booking online, again I dont agree with that. Despite that this was my second time camping here and I will stay here again. Great facilities, nice camp sites, the pool is awesome, easy access to the river. Staff are friendly and courteous, especially the campground host. The "dog park" is really only good for small dogs, my dog is a medium/large breed and wasnt able to use it. There are bigger dog parks within a short drive however so that wasnt a big deal, and the river is right there. We took the dog down to the river with a 20' leash and she had a blast running in the river, although the trailer stunk like wet dog all night!!

Too bad I couldn't rate this place in the negative because I would have . They are way overpriced and you may as well check yourself into a boot camp. The staff are terrible. Big seller for us wanting to stay there was the pool, well they wouldn't let anyone in the pool and didn't even inform us prior to booking that the pool was not in use and didnt offer a cheaper rate. My family was startled by the grounds keeper snooping around our campsite at 7am . I find this inappropriate and distributive. They are constantly driving around in their golf carts finding any reason to cause a problem, complain and maintain their power trip . They complained about kids running around playing mantracker.....YOU RUN A CAMPSITE....KIDS ARE GONNA RUN AROUND. My son was not allowed to ride his skateboard. A very unnecessary scene escalated from the manager at my campsite when she very rudely demanded that I take a Small cloth bag off of a dead branch. It was not a nice conversation. I dont feel like they should be going around talking down to their guests . Threats were made of me getting a fine and the police being called if my family and I didnt leave the premises all because I questioned what the big deal was about a small baggy hanging on a stick to dry and I called her out at how she was treating me . The year before she was chasing my son and his friends around on her golf cart demanding the one boy take off an article of clothing because she didnt agree with what was on it. I'm not at all surprised that the campground was so empty. If this is the way they treat their customers then it's no doubt that people don't return. So before you book here ask yourself. .are you willing to support somewhere that doesn't support you. I know we will never be returning here!

Spent the month of Oct 2018 here. Very friendly & helpful staff. Thankyou David, Kathy & Ron. Great clean facilities. If you're here during October check out the Thanksgiving Dinner, wonderful. Wife was happy she didn't have to cook 😉. Enjoyed our stay very much. Thanks again. Cheers & Merry Christmas.
