On the recommendation of friends we tried this campground. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews but can only assume it is because people aren't going into the experience with the right attitude . This is not a 5 star resort, this is a mostly rustic privately owned campground that is well maintained for the most part. The only negatives I found with the campground were that the unserviced sites are pretty close together, like uncomfortably close depending on who you are and makes for some creative requirements to get your site set up and makes privacy non-existent if someone is beside you. For the first couple of days the bathrooms also weren't as maintained as we have seen in other campgrounds and it seemed like at least 1 stall in both the men's and women's was always out of order but nothing that was a deal breaker for us. The showers were free which is a nice touch. The staff were very friendly in all of our interactions and don't encroach on your personal space ever. We never had anyone come by to bug us at our site from the campground which is what we like. I would have suggested that at least once in a while someone drive around to sell firewood like in Provincial and National parks but again not a deal breaker for us. The road out was fine, perfectly suitable for a regular car. Overall there is really nothing that would prevent us from going again and I can see us staying here again and again. People just need to manage their expectations.

Water was a little high and fast for tubing with kids. Staff was awesome, site choice was good as there wasn't much happening Sunday night. As it's been said reclamation from the flood is coming really good and the 30$ tenting stalls for the "real campers" is a little confusing as there is not much to show separation. The river view is stunning as well.

Great campground. Clean and close, lots of trees. Close to the river and has a nice little store. Great for day use too. Staff were friendly and helpful.

This place was so cute! The tent sites are super nice, and the staff are very helpful! Honestly, I would recommend this place to people who aren't "glamping". Super inexpensive and very quiet.

Let me start with this; the staff are terrific and we had great service. Unfortunately, the facilities are not good. The campground needs to spend some money on upgrades to washrooms, power outlets, water outlets, the beach, and planting trees. We didn't realize that a 50' hose and extension cord would be required in order to connect to the services. Our power went out intermittently which was a hassle.
