I really liked this place for tenting. Nice quite well maintained and secure campground. The tent spots have trees for shade and are against a fence. The bathrooms are nice and clean. Its 1 dollar for 5 min of warm shower water. The kids park is nice and big. The river close to the park moves fast but is very shallow so its popular with locals.

This place was awesome! There’s a river nearby, $20 all-you-can-eat sushi within walk-in distance, a massive playground for the kids, plenty of room between RV’s, the bathrooms are squeaky clean AND amazingly friendly staff. Example: We had to put our dog down after 15 years on the day we were checking out, the woman at the front desk gave us a late checkout and said her condolences. Despite the loss of a family member, the Okotoks Lions RV Park will always have a special place in our hearts and we will definitely be back next time we’re in Country.

A clean, well-run campground with experienced staff to help with situating RVs in the campsites. The restrooms were always spotless, and the firewood was delivered with a smile and good conversation. No, this isn't a wide-open, spread out campground you'd expect to find out in the bush, but if you just need a secure place to stay for a night or two, this is a great option. We met my in-laws there -- we had a minivan, and they had a 38' diesel pusher, and the staff was very accommodating in letting us park the minivan in the same pull-thru spot. If you don't mind a little traffic noise, or a ttait horn in the middle of the night, it works great

Clean, quiet, amazing and friendly. We spent two weeks here when moving to Alberta and loved every minute of it. Be sure to bring your bikes and your running shoes, oh and your water shoes to wade in the river. Our entire family loved biking the many pathways along the river!!

This is my favourite park in Okotoks. I like to walk a bit further down the river to find a quieter spot on the weekends. The play structure is great, the river is clean and there are bathrooms!
