My child loves Leap n Learn. We started this September and we cannot believe the difference in him already. He is so happy to go to school that on the days he doesn't attend, he asks to go. He was so, so shy in the beginning that I did not think we would get him pried away from our legs. Thank you for giving my son the encouragement and self-confidence he needs.

So happy we chose Leap n Learn for our daughter. She suffered from a severe speech impediment and they put us on the right path to getting the help she needed. It is so difficult as a parent to watch your child be ignored by children her own age at the park, or be made fun of. It breaks your heart. She has started kindergarten this year and we have just had a meeting with her teacher said she is doing so well and she is making friends. We have Miss Shanon, Krista and Isobel at Leap n Learn to give big hugs to next time we see them!!!!!!!

My son is happy. He's gaining independence and confidence. I'm happy!! Teachers are kind, organized and in control

Completely opposite experience than the previous post. The teachers are caring, kind and go out of their way to make families and the children in their care feel welcome.

If you'd like to send your child to an organized form of babysitting, then you're better off sending them to a dayhome. I didn't find out until the end of the year, when I had been in touch with some of the other parents that children with strong personalities were being ostracized by being placed in 'time away' because the teacher did not know how to deal with strong willed children. When I think back to what a struggle it was to get my daughter out the door to L&L, and how my efforts were met with so much resistance on a daily basis, it all makes sense. If I had a teacher that segregated me from the class because of my personality, I probably would hate going to school too. Not only that, the teacher was kind enough to announce in front of my daughter's peers & their parents that my daughter had taken another child's doll and put it in her backpack-- effectively labelling her a 'thief' in front of an audience. There are ways to deliver information to parents, and this was so far off the mark. In retrospect, I think my resources would have been better spent home-schooling my daughter for preschool.
