Beautiful place for a morning coffee. Serene and zen. One of the best thing is, there many different ways to get to the lake, and they all have unique views. If you're going East, this is the last valley you will see, but if you're going west, the beauty is just beginning. Bring your own chair!

Quiet campground with large sites of you're tenting (trailers/ campers/ motorhomes are permitted). Firewood sales for $10 when the Conservation Officers come around, water pump (water not drinkable so bring some). Small playground for kids. Pit style toilets with toilet paper. Bear Proof bins available for food storage if backpacking in. The Exshaw plant and Hwy 1 are very close but I didn't really hear any loud noises during the night.

No shower and only pump water but great sites. Online reserve only. Highway noise from the #1 isnt bad in the rear sites (5-12)

Amazing! Family owned, great service, excellent views. Hot showers, fire wood and beautiful sites for tents or trailers. Real gem.

This campsite deserves a half star at best. There are no recycling facilities or proper garbage disposal, campers are expected to keep garbage in lockers and then carryout upon vacating. The mountains are beautiful however the site itself is the ugliest one I've ever stayed at. The scenery is complete with a cement plant overlooking a lake which is full of silt and only 4 ft. deep. The outhouses are ill kept and rancid and apperently there is a bear infestation. The firewood bundles are 10$ and are basically kindling but don't worry about that ...the camp attendants are are so scarce youd be better off cutting down your own tree if you need to have a fire. In the three days I stayed I didn't see any inspections of the vacated sites. The site must be booked on line or by phone and fees must be paid by credit card in advance. The cost of 30$ per night is expensive considering there are no amenities ( showers/recycling/ sani-station) and you are right next to the freeway.
