Stayed here while visiting Watertown Lakes National Park since most campgrounds in the park are closed due to the 2017 fire. Staff was friendly. Sites were reasonably spaced and the campground was quiet. Facilities are a little aged but appeared clean.

My uncle is managing it and he's doing a great job

My brother in law booked us (4 adults under 35) in to Crooked Creek a couple months ago for the Labour Day long weekend. Between the day we booked and they day we arrived my husband and I had got a puppy. While we checked to ensure his breed was allowed on site, we didn't realize dogs had to be registered at the time of booking. At check in the campground's management was very friendly and accommodating to the situation. Check in was quick, and the map of the campground was easy to read. Our tent site was unserviced, but there were multiple outhouses and potable water spouts throughout the campground, and there was a dishwashing station and FREE showers. The office sold a lot of the basics one might forget or need to replenish without being overpriced. All of these were greatly appreciated - especially the showers. Unlike what other reviewers experienced, I didn't find that we were watched more closely because we were younger than some of the other campers. Crooked Creek is maybe 15 minutes from Waterton's townsite, and with all of the above and the rate per night I found it a great alternative to staying in town.

Great place, close to the national park. Very friendly helpful staff. Just wish the spots were not so close together, and they wont let you keep your pet in the rv by itself for any length of time while you are not there. Even if you have air conditioning and your pet is quiet.
