What more could you ask for? Great camp site. Had one black bear come up behind us on the mountain in the morning, but he stayed 50 feet away. Loved it and we would stay again. Seems like Many glacier campground has a much more torn up road.

Clean, quiet campground. Lots of trees and big rocks. Easy access to the GTTS road. We were woken up at 0630 by 2 young Male moose licking our tent. That was terrifying because we thought it was a bear. Other than that it was a perfect stay

Beautiful campground with showers, a store and restaurant close by. A really good hiking trail to Otokomi Lake begins at the Rising Sun Campground too.

Rising Sun was a great campground and pretty quiet compared to the others we stayed in. Beautiful views of the Sun rising and setting. We were here for a super moon and were able to get amazing views right up the road from the cliff overlook.
