It is a really nice and clean campground. However, the camp sites are kind of small; I could not imagine trying to fit a large unit into any of the sites but the group site. The outhouses are quite nice as far as outsides go, but there is no lighting so make sure you bring a lantern with you. The price is reasonable but would be nicer if wood was included. One note! If you are planning to hike or walk the trails, make sure it's no going to rain. The ground is clay and becomes extremely slippery when wet. We found out the hard way how slippery it can be.

Awesome place to camp. Would be better if they supplied firewood but that was really the only downfall. Great fishing in the river though ! And the campsites were very nice and quiet. Beautiful scenery !

The East side has 40 camp sites, and the West side has 20. East side is far better and has a lot of trees and shade. The West side has only one loop. There is also a shooting range next to the west side. Drinking water is available. Pit toilets are clean and big stalls. Site without hookups is $21 per night. Fire pits and picnic tables in each site. All in great condition. You can easily walk to the hoodoos and do some nice hiking from the campground. Good fishing for Goldeneye and we saw lots of people catching fish in the evening.

A really nice campground with good maintenance and maintenance staff. Unfortunately there are no obvious signs advising campers to NOT cut down local vegetation to make fires. Every tree and shrub in the area is ecologically necessary!

Enjoyed our stay. Kids liked floating on the river. Quiet.🙂
