I really wanted to like this place, the people are nice, but THE STAFF ARE HORRIBLE. So rude and condescending. For the AMOUNT OF MONEY people pay for lots here, I’d expect a little kindness? Take your money and find another lake (maybe one that you actually want to swim in).

This place is reminding me in Walmart parking lot. Lake is terribly dirty, camp site smell like sewer. Staff is soooooooooo snobby, rude stressful, people skills 0! Just terrible place with terrible stuff and stinky site.

Friends have a lot here. Great campground. Everyone is super friendly. Clean lake, activities for kids, all around fun place to visit.

This is a nice little campground, but the lake is awful and dirty, good for getting out on the boat but don't swim in it if you don't want to itch for hours. My parents spend an ungodly sum of money to keep a spot year after year where their trailer stays. In terms of value for your dollar it's about on par with other campgrounds BEFORE you take their staff and long list of rules into account. Everything down to the layout of your site is regulated as a seasonal camper, they make you submit a site plan for approval to build a deck. They have a very overzealous staff and a whole lot of rules you need to follow if you want to play house at Pine Lake. Curfew is 11:00PM, and security will be there at 10:58 to shut you down. In recent years they seem to be chilling out where that is concerned but it's a big place and they might just be harassing the paying customers on the other side of the campground or something. They want their pound of fat for everything, so expect resistance if you want to have any sort of get together at your site. My parents did a karaoke night, so of course they tried to move it into their space where they could make a buck off of it. If you have small kids this place can be just right for you. They pretty much have the run of the campground and there is a pool and events put on for the kids. While I am very critical of these guys after having watched the way they treated my parents over the years I do have to say they seem to be working on their issues. I have two sets of uncles and aunts who are also seasonals now as well so it seems we'll be hanging around as well.

Small but quiet beach area with nice sandy sand ... Good boatlaunch but not a huge parking lot but a fair bunch of random parking but with some nice picnic spots We spent a hot day with family having a picnic and it was a really fun and nice spot to have some water fun :)
