This is a funky little campground with lots of character and even plastic palm trees. I liked the ambience. It is easily accessible to the highway and is clean and well cared for. The tenting area is right next to the highway and it is very noisy, but tolerable. There is a bar on site and while the cold beer tasted great, the service staff and a family member?? were more interested in conversing with the locals sitting at the bar than in taking our food order or serving us a second beer. I would definitely give the bar a miss next time.

We were basically run out of the pool/grill by an incredibly rude man who stated that he was the owner's best friend. He was very upset that my 2 kids were splashing in the pool. There were no other people in or around the pool. He made loud comments about them being unable to read the rules and that they should be kicked out. We reviewed the rules to ensure they were being followed, which they were. He continued to be rude and insulting and we left. Horrible experience. Will never go back.

We stayed at eagle valley for 3 days. We were about 60 yards from highway 1. We could see the highway, and it was excruciatingly loud, especially at night. Nothing but noise pollution and an eye sore. At booking, I asked if they were off the highway enough, and asked if you could hear, and they told me no.... Which I find very odd, because they seemed like nice people. However there is no possible way in any part of the campground that you cant hear it. The wood was horrible, and the wind blew a direction one night, and all we could smell was sewers. If it weren't for the highway, the campground itself would have earned 3.5 stars... but our senses were assaulted... I will never book there again.

Good place to camp, there are hook ups, a pub and a pool. The pool deck is VERY VERY slippery!
