Amazing. Wonderful. And that is just the staff. Wait until you see the place. The service was beyond measure. Had some issues with power on my part and they helped me out, lent me a cord and then had an issue with my truck and they came to the rescue again. Friendly and kind. Never had to worry for a moment that I wouldnt be safe or cared for! Already planning next trip!

nice place to camp. Grass was a little long but they have an awesome fish cleaning area. State of the art. We will definitely be going back.

We called to make our reservation, and specifically asked if the camp ground and beaches had been effected by the flooding Slave lake had, and the guy I was speaking to said no absolutely not! The other important question was that we have a dog, and was he allowed to be with us around the park, the playground and beaches as long as we had him on a leash. Again this guy told us yes it was absolutely okay to have him with us everywhere in the park and beaches as long as he was leashed, and they even have a wonderful dog beach just for dogs to play too! As those were our two concerns we booked a 5 night stay. Well we go there and guess what! We were lied to! The beaches were totally flooded out, you couldn't even get to the dog beach without walking through a foot of marshland water from the flooding. Our dog wasn't allowed on the beaches(even if they had any we could actually be on) and he wasn't allowed at the playground. This was a much needed family vacation after a hell of a spring. Two little kids, piping hot weather, no access to beaches, so we decided to go home and asked for our money back. Which they would not give. Unless there is a medical of family emergency there is ZERO refund. We were told there is a board and no way to contact them. The office staff refused to refund the time left remaining. So after staying only 1 night we drove home the 4 hours $121 poorer. We had previously had a fabulous time, but after being treated this way we will not be back. Nor will our family reunions and get togethers be held there. I would give less than 1 star if I could. So disappointed in their customer relations, their refund policy and the rudeness and uninformed staff. -I've been requested to email but I dont have an email address to send it to. Thank you

This campground has many positive and negative attributes. Well built property, kept very clean.... The property is lacking in security features and many seasonal campers as well as weekend warriors complain and have stories of theft taking place over the years. Some campgrounds like Shaws Point Resort have 24 hour security... and this helps keep the thefts to a minimum... enabling a close knit camping community also helps significantly as well.

Love this campground! Too bad about the flood taking away the beach front.
