We we're visiting family who live on Alberta and this place seemed like a perfect spot to explore the history of the province. We had a wonderful time and learned so much about the oil industry, both crude oil and canola oil. The art work was stunning. The staff was very accommodating and friendly and the gift shop had a good variety of items. Would recommend to anyone travelling through the area.

My kids and I stopped in when the mineral exhibit was in, and they really enjoyed that! The taxidermy is not 100%, but was fun to look at anyways. Very much enjoyed the oil exhibit, very hands on for the kiddos.

There was not very many people touring around the day we went and it seems like every day is pretty empty. We had a good time but the taxidermy work is a little odd - super funny to look at so my boyfriend and I had a few good laughs.

The staff here are absolutely knowledgable and passionate!! The camps and classes are just so great for young children to experienced adults!

very informative with a nice selection of exhibits from the Berthold Von Imhoff paintings to taxidermy to History of Oil in Lloydminster which has some interactive exhibits. The gift shop has a nice selection of souvenirs and local handicrafts.
