A nice place for the family if you're planning to have a fun hike or just a stroll around the lake. We had lunch at the top and the view is just surreal. Try one of their local beers too! Definitely worth the drive up!

Whether mountain biking, snowshoeing or hiking, Mount Fernie Provincial Park is an awesome place. Enjoy a relaxing walk along Lizard Creek or a hike up to Island Lake. The 800 year old cedars are so impressive.

Beautiful campground. With the tall dense forest full of Cedars you could almost forget that there's other campers. Sites are spread out and decently sized. A short drive into Fernie for any necessities. Great mountain bike trails all over, including some short, flat loops that the kids have fun riding close to the campground. In the campground, the roads are paved so there's no dust and easy riding around on bikes. Showers are big, clean, and the water is hot. Flush toilets available and a number of outhouses placed throughout. Potable water taps are also placed throughout the campground. There are no threads though so you can't easily fill your RV water tank with water in the campground.
