Great place for kids. The playground is big and have multiple swing, slide. There is a mountain of sand for the kids to go play. A beach volleyball court. The staff was friendly. Don't miss the deal on ice cream. I am giving a 4 star because the bathroom could be improve. First the water smell like sulfur. You know that rotten egg smell. The shower head is coming straight from above, if you don't want to wash your hair, it's kinda inconvenient. The toilet are too high, if you have children they will need help to get on, and unless you are 6 feet tall its uncomfortable. The bathroom was clean, actually really clean for a campground. I definitely recommend this campground, the valley scenery and the river was great. Some site have nice tree cover. Elkton valley campground we will be back.

This place is a hidden gem for kids . All the bottles that are donated go towards the funding of money mountain. The owners bury money in the sand pile every weekend and the kids dig it out and spend it in their store genius . Has good play structures for the kids and the little red deer river flows by the campground property which you can go floating down on a hot day.

Lots of kids and close to the river. A very busy place but a good option close to town.
