Had a great time this afternoon with my wife and granddaughter at the day use area at Pembina River Provincial Park. Scouted out the riverside park. Granddaughter got to play in the kid's playground. Had delicious icecream cones from The Purple People Feeder. Very much worth the one hour plus drive from Edmonton. Our first time there and very definitely not our last.😀

Beautiful area to go for some walks. For the most part, the pathways are quite level and easy to navigate. If you park in the day area of the campground, you need to cross the road and begin the hike with a steep short climb. However, there is also a small parking area to the west that makes it possible for hikers with reduced mobility to start at the same elevation as the walkways
