We stayed for as weekend Friday to Sunday. We booked group sites in the F section and it was really neat camping right on the water... There was a large grassy area and they kids enjoyed running and playing on the sand - until they stepped in some of the hundreds of piles of dog poop. And this was after maintenance cleaned up the beach. The lake has a 10km /hour speed limit, the boat launch is a steep dirt hill with no dock. And since the bottom of the lake is pure mud, it was interesting launching the boat. There are lots of docks but they're all private, so that was little help. The campground had lots of rules, which on the surface is great, except the rules only apply to those who are camping not to the resident's. We still enjoyed our weekend, got in some fishing - caught one lazy Pike - no fish cleaning stations, so come prepared to do it at camp. But we don't plan to return.

Love it here. It's close to home, the seasonal campers are all really friendly, and they're very welcoming. There needs to be a rule about generator use though. Seriously does your generator need to run all day? Maybe book a power site next time. The store staff is great.

We found the campground to meet our weekend stay needs very well. The store had everything we forgot, service was super friendly and accommodating and the bathrooms and showers were exceptionally clean. Being close to 770 though, we did hear a fair amount of traffic, and by the sound of the campfire festivities happening around our tent trailer late into the night, the noise bylaws on the rules sheet are very loosely enforced.
