🌞Pretty area along the lake and kept very tidy!! 🌞Some stores could be taken away and some added such as a "Fish&Chip" restaurant. Smell that wonderful fish&chips along the lake front would be amazing! 🌞Some hotels/motels could be painted on the outside and landscaped as well as a few could use some updating on the inside. 🌞Sylvan Lake definitely defines the look of community!

Well-maintained lake and beach front areas. Lots and lots of room for family and friends groups - yet cozy enough space for couples or solitary excursions next to the water. There are plenty of food and curio shops right across the long, beautifully-kept street. Top-notch, very clean, central bathroom facilities. Great place for swimming, playing in shallow, sandy beach spaces, boating, windsurfing, picnicking, playing catch with a football, baseball or frisbee. Betty relaxing! Very highly recommended!

This is a beautiful area. The playgrounds are great, there is access to the water, a (very) small beach, walking paths, washrooms, and of course Lakeshore Drive and all those amenities. We parked our vehicle, brought a cooler full of food and spent the entire day here. It was a great experience.

We recently moved to Sylvan, and we love it. Friendly people. Always clean. Tons of options for food. Great space for picnics, with a playground and washrooms. The only downside is not a lot of beach area. And it fills up fast on the weekends, so you have to go down early if you want to get some space near the water. Be sure to venture past the beach and take a walk down by the marina and lighthouse. It's a view you won't want to miss!

Good place for fun. Take a boat or you can rent one there. Avg clean washroom. If going on long weekend , leave early. You can get your table reserved by calling city of sylvan lake. Dogs must be on leash and can not go on grass or beach area. Peace officers keep on looking who have liquor in car or on park. If alone , consider walking near beach. Nice fun place over all. A lot of parking... rest is your luck.
